Almost no deaths are directly caused the virus. You die from Covid because of your lungs get so compromised that you can't get enough oxygen to live. That is what is listed first on the death cert. It's called the proximal cause of death. Covid is also listed.

About the only time Covid would be listed first, is when they don't know what happened. This would occur for example when a death occurs outside the hospital and no autopsy is done.

The only way excess deaths has any meaning is if you use realistic projections for 2020 deaths. In ballgag's graph they use an average of 2015-2019 deaths as the baseline which is pure BS. This is the same thing the CDC changed to in mid 2020 in their reporting. If you use the 2019 Italy deaths, and project a 2020 total death expected based on the 2015-2019 yearly growth, you end up with ~28K excess deaths in Italy. Much more than what the original article claims, but well below the tally being publicized for Italy.

Balgag, Tell your handlers you need better data as your arguments are pretty lame. Of course, it could be there is no real data to back up your claims.

Give me one good reason why people that are not vaccinated should be discriminated against and banned from society? None of these vaccines prevent infection, transmission or provide immunity. Those who are pro-vaccine are the ones spreading miss-information.

Way early on, county supervisor Jim Desmond dug into the numbers for San Diego. IIRC COVID deaths had been listed at close to 1,000 at that time. His investigation turned up only 4 people that didn’t have some pre-existing illness.

We knew who to protect. But our leaders failed us with a one size fits all panic.

I wonder what the "real" covid death tally is here in the USA? 10% of the reported total at most, I'd guess.

The rest are just old people kicking off, accelerated by lack of care due to the forced covid shutdowns.

Gotta convince people to shove that poison in their veins one way or another. If people actually believed the truth everyone involved would face the firing squad.
