On the Matt and Blonde podcast a couple of weeks ago,

Blonde said her whole family got covid including her. She said her dad went to get a covid test and he tested positive, and no one else got tested.

Then after they all recovered, her dad got the antibody test and was positive. Everyone else got the antibody test and it was negative.

So I think you only get a positive antibody test if you also had an known active infection.

Are the blood banks in Calif still giving you an Covid antibody result for blood dononations? Are they asking if you're vacinated? Bloodmobile will be at my job site in a couple weeks. I've been a regular donor for years with 3 negative covid results in recent donations.

T-Cell Memory produces the Antibodies when COVID is present. When COVID is beaten, Your T-Cells stop producing antibodies and they fade from the system.

Is this reason why people who recover from MERS still today shows antibodies? Antibodies goes away to some low level and they stay there, on that low level. As time goes by-we will know for sure numbers.

Yes some will still exist, but I don't believe an antibody test will reliably detect them a year or so later.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this still but I think you are both right.

An antibody test (of your blood plasma) will show a fairly short span where antibodies are detected.

A "T" cell test would show them in your bone marrow where they (presumably) lay in wait as a blueprint to produce many more should you be reinfected.
