    Antibody Test

Has anyone gotten the antibody test? How accurate is the test and how far back can the test detect? My wife and I got really sick around Sep/Oct 2019. We thought it was a really bad flu. (We rarely get that sick before) A month or two later, COVID hit the news. I am kind of curious to see if my body has COVID antibody. Is it worth getting the test?

American Red Cross does the test when you donate blood.

Antibodies last months not years. That's one reason the so called vaccines border on worthless. What you really want is to test for memory T cells, which last decades.

T-Detect is currently available for research use only.

here are my results after 6 months getting the Covid no VAX

          SARS-COV-2 IGG INDEX 2.35 (index_val)
          <1.00 (index_val) H
          SARS-COV-2 IGG QUAL Reactive
          Non Reactive A
Reactive results indicate that antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 spike protein were
detected, potentially indicating prior COVID-19 vaccination or exposures to
          COVID-19, or both.

Nice! Thanks for this link. We may wind up doing this test just to see what our current 'status' is regarding this. My wife has a stellar immune system and may have been asymptomatic and I was feeling 'something' last month, but definitely not ER level severe. Had chills, sweats, nausea and a dry cough but never ran a fever and O2 was 98% consistently.

Can they tell the difference between injections and previous infections?

Allegedly, yes. There is a seroprevalence study completed in May '21 derived from Red Cross donors representing 74% of US population. Suggested that 20% of pop has antibodies consistent with natural infection, with a further 63% attributed to vaccine stimulated for a total seroprevalence of 83%.

180 million Americans fully vaccinated per the CDC.

Yet we had more deaths in Aug '21 than Aug '20. Something stinks.

I did antibodies twice-3 months after recovery and 6 months after recovery. 3 months I had index IgG 9.82 (1.4<n<10 is range) and after 6 months it was 8.48. My wife had 4.13 and 2.27 accordingly. I do did at Exer Urgent Care. They use Abbott qualitative detection of igG test.

Antibodies so far last way more then months. They fade off to low level, but still present. T Cell will boost them as needed. That is I read so far.

Yet they want you to get a second shot and are pushing a booster after 6 months.

                          to be called fully vaccinated
