SF, I refuse to go there. The last time I went it was a nightmare of bums, traffic and parking problems. They wanted to park our car four us. Let's see give my car keys to a scary looking guy. The car has my home address in the glove box. Yeah...no. They made the Exploratorium into a Marxist political statement. Everything was super expensive. Never-ever again. Any one who visits or lives there is suspect to me.

OP: Did you ask the Manager, cashier and cook for their Vac card ? I would have before eating their stuff.

I second this. Any place that is going to deny you service based on their opinion of your vaccine card is probably not a place that ought to be patronized.

It is a city and/or county mandate. It's not just this one business. It is EVERY business.

OP, you and your friend should've demanded to see the vax cards of the cashier and manager, and 'questioned their authenticity' just like they did to yours.

Also, demanded the same of all their kitchen staffs and cleaning crews..... If they couldn't comply, told them you're going to report them to the authorities. Because, "if it saves just one life~!"
