So last week I went to Houston for work - attended a trade show and some customer visits. All went well. Most places, especially indoors, I'd say 75 % of the people wore masks.

I was there with a co-worker. We met up at IAH on Monday PM and were together until we parted at the airport Thursday AM.

I wasn't aware at the time but found out he isn't vaccinated. I am.

So this last Monday he texted me saying he's feeling rotten & has a fever and all. He said it started Saturday night and he got tested Monday AM - he's got Covid.

I tested here in Los Angeles and my test has come back negative. I feel fine.

It's not exactly scientific but from my POV, the vaccine worked.

Here you go op. My perspective. It’s now been four weeks and no one is sick.

Maybe we just wash our hands a lot? Just lucky? IDK. But we do have a lot of old fat people with other serious medical issues.

Long time ago, I used to work at Press (now called Media.)

As Press, I went to trade shows every few months. Almost after every trade show, some random coworkers would get sick.

Probably because they were seeing many people on the floor, working too hard while traveling, chugging too many free drinks at the parties, or having too much fun at the 'Chicken Ranch.'

We used to call it 'Sick,' but nowadays everything is 'Covid.'
