Just off the top of my head, I expect lots of people who have taken the vax to die, and soon. The oldest and most frail people are the ones most likely to have taken it. They are the most likely to die soon from all causes. 2.8 million people die in the US each year. Most of them are old and die of age related conditions. The vax may have nothing to do with it.

To OP's question, another take. Too much hubris by a few powerful people who like to tell everyone else what to do. They think they know everything, but are somehow afraid of 'misinformation' and censor what they disagree with instead of proving they are indeed correct.

I have an honest question for you guys. Why are you pushing so hard for others to get the vaccine? You don't see me pressuring people to NOT get the vaccine. If you want to get the vaccine, by all means. All my friends have gotten the vaccine. I told people I'm not getting the vaccine, but I won't tell anyone to skip it. It's my choice and I don't want to influence anyone else.

A.K.A. a "mob mentality" (or "herd mentality"), which seems to be the current 'governing policy' for the Left.

Then again, given that "herd immunity" is what is being striven for, it might not be that big a stretch to think that an "herd mentality" might develop.

The Nazi's marked the Jews as 'other'. What drove them was a 'disgust' mentality. Once it sets in it's hard to let go of.

So they saw them as less than humans.

Something like those who have complete 'disgust' for people who don' take the vaccine.

Folks think its a stretch to compare the response to the pandemic to the Holocaust. That's because everyone is basically taught Nazis just all got together on a Monday rounded up Jews on Tuesday and gassed them all on Wednesday.

They don't realize it took almost a decade of slowly eroding their rights, finding excuses to implement controls (no unvaccinated Jews allowed to own businesses, sell to the government, own land etc), marking them as 'other' and educating the children that these unvaccinated Jews are a threat to 'democracy'.
The vaccine passports yellow armbands were the last step they took before they systematically started rounding them up.
