NO, but I am 78 and no longer twisting pipe or taking calls from the IRS or Cal EDD when the boss is " unavailable " / ducking their calls. I am totally against aborting babies in the womb or otherwise and will not have anything to do with a vax or anything derived from such. If this doesn't fit the discussion it doesn't. As well what this vax is doing to the unlearned masses who take anything thrown at them with even just a little public " YOU GOTTA DO THIS " BS thrown at them.

What baffels me is how high level managers just copy and paste the mainstream narrative without doing any research. I got the same sensationalist bull**** in my corporate emails that I got over the past week from the mainstream media. It didn't take much effort to find out that what they keep peddling is either not true or half true at best.

They haven't mandated the jab at my job yet, but they warned us that they're looking into it.

It's simple. When it comes to running a business and compliance with health code, CDC is the head authority (state and local code will just adopt CDC's codes and guidance). CDC says to get the vax.

As a big business, to avoid litigation, it would probably be in your interest to follow CDC guidelines. It has nothing to do with health and everything to do to ensure anti-covid vax litigation isn't a line item in their quarterly operating expenses.

Probably that. We have regular emails on this topic and a monthly "all hands on deck" meeting with some big cheese encouraging everyone to get the Vax. The message is always "We must get everyone vaccinated as soon as possible, then this will be over."

My mom (84) decided she wanted to get the vaccine and asked me to schedule it for her. We go in tomorrow morning. She kept asking me if I am going to get it with her, and I told her no. I am kinda worried, she has bad reactions to just about everything, but I am screwed no matter what. If I told her not to get the shot and she gets sick, she would blame me. If she gets sick from the shot, she will blame me for not talking her out of it. Yeah, I am hosed.

Don't worry about it. My mom & dad it too, both in early 80s. At that age might as well, they're in the covid risk group.

Mom still lives alone, about 10 miles from my place. I am thinking about asking her to stay the night at my place, just so I can keep an eye on her. My wife will love me for this.

Thanks! She has been watching the news and hearing the new "100% chance of getting the delta variant" talking point, that even Fox news is spreading. The only vaccines available in our area are pfizer or moderna, so now she is trying to figure out which one she wouldn't have a bad reaction too. I am betting she will have a bad reaction to anyone of them I recommend.
