It is true that there has been a noticeable uptick in positive cases, and are most likely contributed to the Delta variant, and those that are getting really sick and being admitted to ICU's are unvaccinated folks. However, ICU's are not being overrun, and the rate of admission to ICU's is not on par with the rate of positive cases.

Ironically, an article on just how loose the FDA has been about new drug approvals in recent years, that have led to over a third having serious, even dangerous side effects - but you won't ever find such an article newly published of this topic on CNN since around January of this year.

My MIL (and my parents) see 100% of the 'news' from the MSM. Naturally they're all scared to death. No visits for the 2021 Thanksgiving or Christmas. Double masked, wear gloves when going out. They got the vax & booster.

Weekly zoom call:
- "Hi mom, dad. Hey things are pretty much open and life is back to normal!"
- "You'd better get the vax!! It's dangerous out there....there's a new Delta variant!"

IF (big if) masks do anything to begin with then this spread is 100% due to CDC mask guidance change. I've been fine and working through all of this but just caught the coof 2 weeks ago.

It is indiscriminate whether you have been vaxed or not, doesn't make a damn bit of difference other than the fact the vaxinated get to walk around maskless and happily spread it to the "unvaxinated" then proceed to blame the "unvaccinated" for the spread.
