I just got off the phone.

For now it's not camps. It is hotels under guard. Somebody I know, who lives in NYC, is being forced leave his home and report for quarantine. He is young, vaxed, and has very mild symptoms. IF he does not leave his apartment for forced into quarantine and he will be arrested and forced.

I strongly suggest that involving the government for mild symptoms is not a good idea. You can get a 15-min test at the drug store yourself.

Why would you do anything other than stay home and hydrate and binge watch something for a week? If you have "mild symptoms" why would you even test at all, what good will that do?

That's one of those weird things I can't figure out.

A friend's wife, very leftist, came down with the sniffles last year. Her friend said that she's going to get tested.

My immediate thought was "why?" What would the test do? You're still sick. The symptoms or the lack there of would still be identical. Stay home, rest, some exercise in the yard and sunlight. It's not the plague nor a gunshot wound. You don't have to rush to the hospital.

Looks like an ultimatum for health care workers, vax up by Monday or be replaced by foreign workers. Will full potato vax camps be next? Sure looks like they're pressing the issue.

Irony, the foreign workers probably won't have to be vaccinated...
