The rest of the women (700) received their first dose in the third, trimester, therefore that number can't be included in the denominator. Not a great study either but that's how it shakes out.
So why didn't Pfizer or Moderna find pregnant women in their first trimester, inject them and put the issue to rest? Even they don't recommend pregnant women take it and they are immune from lawsuits!
