Covid19 Wuhan variant would make sense though.
COVID is the illness that results from contracting the virus so your example is also incorrect. It's the SARS-CoV-2 virus. But Trump was right to call it the "China Virus". And note that he was careful to not call it the "Chinese Virus". He named it after the country of origin, not its people. Minor distinction that many completely miss.

Its not racist but its not the name of the virus. The scientists get to name it, not a politician. Trump was using the term as a passive aggressive accusations and there's better methods to deal with that. He ended up sounding like a schoolyard bully instead of a president. It reflected poorly on his character.

Oh, all kinds of accusations of racism come out when you say anything about China. Blame China and get called a racist.

I can see a liberal or a full blown idiot thinking that but not anyone with an ounce of sense.

I see this condescending and insulting BS a lot here. Were all adults and its make a lot more sense to communicate ideas instead of insults.

I also find it amusing that you and many others here have accused me of being a liberal. The far right calls me liberal and the far left calls me conservative but like most Americans im in the middle. I make decisions based on the issues, not party lines.

Trump won the election. The evidence of fraud was so overwhelming it scared the **** out of SCOTUS. They were afraid to decide because of the BLM and ANTIFA shenaningans at the time so they balked. The election was stolen from us. Trump dittoed the sentiments of the real (conservative) america. His feelings on crime and immigration were NOT racist!

It sounds like you're saying there would be less insults if I agreed with you and believed in your 'facts'. The truth is we don't have to agree with each other but can still be civil. Lots of jobs require a panel of people to sit around and judge your work. Theyll tell you why your wrong and you defend your work. It's a very polite interaction without name calling. The lack of this sort of civility is odd to me as it doesn't serve a purpose and is usually a last resort for people that don't have a well thought out opinion. These types of people resort to angry outburst instead of communicating ideas.

Regarding how I interact with people from both extreme ends of the political spectrum.....how do you not? The people I work with, enjoy hobbies with and chat with on other platforms are from all backgrounds. I dont choose people based on political ideology. I chose based on work or activities I enjoy.
