    Mostly peaceful.
    He didn’t win did he?
The numbers are really confusing. Even for me!
    Two weeks.

I could go on and on.

And according to you, they're more likely to get it because of illegal immigrants right? Again, watch out behind you bro. I think there's one watching you now.

Hell, I posted actual facts, you just spout stuff. I even posted a link if you wanted to educate yourself a bit. Sometimes facts are not "politically correct." So, tell me why do hispanics and latinos have 5 times the cases in LA?

Here in San Diego county it is about 3 times though mortality is only about 50% higher for hispanics/latinos than for NHW.

Let's see. They use public transportation more, the primarily work in service jobs, they interact with the public more, they tend to be poorer and live in poorer communities with lower-quality medical, pre-existing conditions, the list goes on. This is quite obvious if you ever had a chance to interact with folks outside of the latest screeds on Parler.

And yes, you posted facts, BUT THEY DON'T SUPPORT YOUR ARGUMENT.

So you Googled and got an article. See the part about living in poorer neighborhoods? Where do you think illegals live, Beverly Hills? No, they live in poorer neighborhoods and generally with higher numbers of people living in a single residence.

I have been working with hispanics all my life, they just happen to be here legally or work here legally.

This has nothing to do with illegals. Jesus Christ. That is a mind bogglingly ignorant statement, especially compared with all of the other factors that *actually* drive the problem.

And no, I didn't have to google it because this common knowledge if paid even an ounce of attention to what's been going on. The issue with racial inequities has been there since the beginning.

So now you guys are trying to blame the minorities for COVID's high impact in the US? Really? Try looking at how South Dakota has some of the worst case and death numbers in the US and is one of the whitest states. North Dakota is similar. Closer by in the State of Jefferson, Placer county has been clocking 300 new cases a day in a lily-white county - but I guess the socialists are somehow faking the data and putting actors in the hospitals.

In the cities in CA it turns out that Latinos are being hit extra hard while blacks are not. Its due to the fact they often live in small homes with 3 generations and the youngest work in supermarkets or public-facing essential jobs.

I guess the playbook for any threat then is to 1) Blame the government and if that fails 2) Blame immigrants.

And hell, Yeah, "Don't Tread on Me" means you are willing to stand up to a mob of folks who are long on vitriol and short on logic or facts, especially when that mob is telling older folks they will be safe ignoring Covid risks. And, yes, I would like to see the State of Jefferson split from the US...but that isn't going to end the pandemic. Folks might have to act like adults for that to happen. Sorry kids.

                      - we have lots of poor people sharing small quarters. the lockdowns have exacerbated this.
                      - it's winter. people are cold (by CA standards)
                      - we have the new strain
                      - LA has lots of workers that do jobs in close quarters
                      - and of course, the worse it gets the worse it gets.

I did ask him why LA is different than the rest of the country in unbolded parts. He never answered.

LA has the second highest illegal immigrant population in the US and recently has been called the "epicenter" of COVID cases. The hispanic/latino population is over-represented in the data. Illegals live in the poorer neighborhoods and do many of the service jobs you speak about. If you look at the areas hardest hit in San Diego guess what, they're mainly near the border.

None of that even suggests illegal immigrants are the problem. You take them away and you're STILL left with the issues that are actually driving the problem.

Those people are poor. They have ****ty jobs. They take the bus. They live in cramped housing. They have bad access to medical care. NONE of that goes away. The linkage between social class and covid outcome is far, far stronger than any illegal immigrant trope.

When you finally get all grown up come and talk to me. You are young and dumb. Everything you have said backs my position and, for some reason, you cannot see that. Again, LA was the "epicenter" of COVID cases this winter. LA has the second highest illegal immigrant population in the USA. In LA, the demographics show that hispanic/latinos are significantly overrepresented in the COVID case load and deaths from COVID. Those are the facts (note, I don't have to capitalize things to make my point). Those governing LA are worthless eff's. Here in San Diego we just elected a worthless eff as mayor so I have said I expect San Diego to follow in the footprints of LA (which has been a cesspool for years) and San Francrapistan.
