Its kind of hard to explain, but there is some tightness in my chest but no fluid. All the congestion is in my sinuses. My daughter is a covid nurse and insisted that we get a pulse-ox monitor to make sure our o2 levels don't drop below 90%. Yesterday I blew up about a dozen balloons for my granddaughter without a problem. The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.Comment

I got tested yesterday but won't get results till Tuesday. Headache, fever and sinuses felt weird the previous night. Already feeling almost back to normal today. Sounds like the loss of taste and smell doesn't happen all the time so I can't guess whether I've got something else.
Looks like at least Monday is range day, or all next week if test is positive.
Prayers for all those who it hits much harder. ...Can't risk spreading it around.Comment

Hope you feel better soon. You will, it takes time. The weight loss is dehydration, force yourself to drink liquids. Expect to be down for a while.I'm with you on the vax and overreaction, but the Rona is real and it is a be-atch. I'm on day 5 and not really feeling better at all. Its very frustrating to feel so crappy for so long. it's really tough staying hydrated and wanting to eat. I think I have lost at least 8 lbs and I haven't been under 165 for 20 years let alone below 160.
Get a pulse oximeter. IF you O2 sats drop get to the ER asap.
By comparison I got H1N1 10 years ago. I lost 25# in two weeks. My fever peaked at 104 each day for 10 days. I was immobile for two weeks, out of work for three weeks. I felt poorly for two months. My mother died of flu from the 2018 spike. Covid or other flu strains are obviously very serious.Comment

Yeah I know this off topic, BUT anyone remember the " Hong Kong " flu from the '70s ? A friend of mine had it for like 3 1/2 weeks and ached from head to foot and was in bed. I got it a couple of weeks later and my arms and legs ached for about a week, then gone. I was in my 30's then. So enuff for for our personable war stories.

this happened to me back in march when everybody's panic buying. wife and i got home from sam's club and felt some of the symptoms; tired, lightheaded, slight fever, headache, body aches, difficulty breathing, slight coughing, nauseated.
went to bed expecting it would get worst the next day but after waking up in the morning, all symptoms were gone! i didn't take any medicine and it left me as fast as it came.Comment

Not really worth shutting down the country and destroying the free world over it huh?Symptoms came on yesterday, and the wife had me drive down to my closest COVID drive-thru test center. Just got the results back and I'm positive. I'm in disbelief that this is what people are freaking out about.
The most notable symptom was a bad headache (not quite migraine, but close). I work remotely for the time being in tech and join video conferences with yuppies throughout the day, so I didn't think much of the headache... until I popped a few Ibuprofen and looked in the mirror -- my eyes were stoner red. I don't usually get red eyes from headaches, and I had secondary minor symptoms like bubble guts happening, so I drove down to get tested and wha-lah. I'm now a statistic.
This all happened yesterday. Today, I feel as I did three days ago -- 100%. My body totally kicked Wuflu's butt overnight in my sleep. I'm 30 years old.
I'm not sure how we're convincing people to shut everything down over this bug. At most, for me, it felt like a 1-day stomach flu coming on, and I kicked it in my sleep.vindicta inducit ad salutem?Comment

All this really says is you have a weaker immune system then some and a weaker blood type than some. Meaning you would have gotten it no matter what.Symptoms came on yesterday, and the wife had me drive down to my closest COVID drive-thru test center. Just got the results back and I'm positive. Glad you are recovering. That's the key. Some folks with even weaker immune systems than you aren't as fortunate and succumb to this disease.Comment

Keep plugging, OP! Keep a watch on the oximeter, and be sure to do all you can to stay healthy. Hope you don't have any long term issues. There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.
It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?Comment

I'm on day 8 since I started to feel the aches and pains. I'm at about 90% with no residual aches or pains. Appetite is completely back and no issues with taste or smell. Im still a little tired but have no issues with my lungs so I'm thinking by Friday I will restart my workouts. The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.Comment
