But... I get all my healthcare and medical advice from CalGuns. I have faith that anonymous gun experts on the internet are far more knowledgeable about medicine and epidemiology than my doctor.

That's actually not that good of news. I wouldn't brag about it either.
The facts remain that a majority of folks that have survived/recovered covid-19 will have months to years of recovery if any at all. We have already seen studies of long term heart damage and CKD. That's not something I would be happy about. Chronic Kidney Disease is forever. There is no magic pill or cure. You do realize that right? Chronic heart issues long term is not something I want. Liver damage isn't something I want either but you're ok with it? Ok cool.
Non medical folks keep living in a fantasy land and that's ok. We are all in this together.

Many of the “Experts” in this forum will also post questions like “are assault weapons legal in California” or “what’s my Glock worth now” in the other forums here. So being an “Expert” is a loose term.
While there are obviously some smart knowledgable people here, every new topic goes down the same road. Yay sayers and nay sayers arguing, all the same players each time.

So I guess you believe that you either die, or are permanently scarred with no possible hope for any quality of life? I guess I should call my brother and sister in law who both had the Rona and had little more than some mild cold/flu symptoms for a week or so and have since returned back to life with no ill effects, and let them know that the worst is still yet to come? That's actually not that good of news. I wouldn't brag about it either.

I understand there are some people that have been hit really hard by this virus and fall into the categories you speak about, but I am optimistic that there are far more end up like my examples that no one speaks about.Last edited by joepamjohn; 08-06-2020, 12:42 PM."You can't handle the truth"Comment
