Dont worry OP, all the signage was only there because of an abundance of caution.

I feel like i'm missing out, no big box stores with in an hour drive of me. I've been going to the local SAVE MART in the mornings when I need to shop.

More workers than customers usually. But....still real low/out of T.P., soups, pasta.

OP I don't understand your thought process sometimes. As private member organizations go they've always been very restrictive, even flippant about your personal privacy but asking people to follow the guidelines they're very likely being ordered to comply with by local public health authorities is just smart business. If they don't comply they could run into operational problems.

It's getting to the point where people are just looking for something to complain about.
I would add that not all stores are the same. Costco has a high potential to become a clusterclump of mobs. The hordes of frantic people at Costco the days immediately following lockdown were a terrific way to make sure the virus got plenty of exposure.

I'm giving Costco one last chance this weekend. About to not renew.

I don't go often and have not been since the COVID thing.

It was great to hear they stopped the feedings in the aisles....what a pathetic tradition...it sickens me to see folks and their six kids lined up to feed on a free sample. Cows in a corral are better behaved.

It was great to hear they are limiting entrance to two people per card. I've seen people there with multi-generational families including 4 to 6 adults and 4 to 6 youth which could total groups as big as 8 to 12 on a single card!

And what is with the snotty nose kids....jeeze parents, you can buy a case of facial tissue for $5 and wipe that snot off your spawn's nose.

Yep, about two trips per year are all I can tolerate.

I don't go to Costco anymore, I use their online delivery service. For paper products like TP, paper towels and napkins I order online and have them delivered from Office Depot. This way I don't have to deal with the Covidiots.

This^^^^^! I won't go near one of those costco places. Have local, smaller stores that have everything we need and cheaper. No Costco.

Yeah, I didn't really figure it would be but I have a Sam's near my TN home and no Costco nearby. I thought I'd give it a try for a year.

Home Depot and Target all have ample TP.

This is the same procedure at our local Home Depot. Everyone has to come in through the main entrance. They control how many are in the store, tape on the ground showing where to stand six feet apart. Mask on (city/county law).

I don't think the retailers have much choice. If they don't follow the rules they will be shutdown. The grocery stores have a bit more flexibility since they can't be shut down. People need food.

It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters." -Daniel Webster
