Our Costco is fully stocked. People bought a bunch of TP at first but now there's plenty.

They are trying to make sure the govt doesn't decide to shut them down.. or make them remove everything from the store that the govt doesn't deem as "essential"

They are playing the game. Here in NC they do sorta the same, but not nearly to your level since people here are nearly as dense as many in CA

I did notice one thing.. Of all the stuff at Costco "on sale" now.. NONE of it is food.. not a single food item is on discount, which is really odd. I guess they figure why discount something that's selling, but it was still odd.

They had tons of TP.. no fresh chicken though.. and no clorox type wipes.. but they did have bleach.. go figure

LOL I send my 21yr old Daughter to do the Costco and other shopping.

Shes got more patience and isn't in a high risk category. Last time I was there beginning of March I wanted to choke out a few midget Oriental ladies.

With the Chip they no longer ask for ID at any place.

Costco is a full throttle Libtard Corp BTW.

Yes, over the top retard. Unless a person absolutely MUST have Kirkland TP and Towels no reason to shop there since it's more available in grocery stores now, without those draconian rules....

I avoid them because of that...

So I was at ours yesterday morning and they did have plenty of Kirkland brand in stock, which the checker said was unusual. Regard the physical (err, social) distancing - yes they have spacing markers for each checkout line, but the stupid thing is they have a single, bunched-up line reaching to the back of the store feeding to a single point where a worker directs people to a particular checkout line where the spacing is in effect. I jokingly mentioned this inconsistency to the person behind me while in the bunched-up line and she just looked at me like I was one of those trouble makers.

Ever since Costco started accepting EBT a few years ago it has become ghetto anyway. Dropped my membership of 23 years and joined Sam's Club. I'm not sure if it's any better, we'll see.

Costco varies widely by location. I'm lucky to live near a great one. You couldn't pay me to shop at the South Sacramento one.

Good Costco run Wed. Had what we wanted, including paper products and wasn't crowded.

Support small local stores. Screw Costco.

Agreed. I never enjoyed shopping Costco due to the mob-like crowds. The one in Prescott is 10x better than the zoos in SoCal they call Costcos.

Was just there this week, same experience. The loudspeaker telling everyone to do something was over the top.

Now for the stupid part, at the Sam's club and ALL grocery stores they have a worker sanitizing the shopping carts BEFORE you grab one.

At this costco I got STOPPED so they could sanitize the cart I had to grab before you get in line! So I have my hands on the cart then stop me to sanitize the handle so I can put my hands back on

On the plus side the snake 3 building lengths deep only took my 50 minutes to get in and out with my 3 items on the list

So Costco was all super personal freedom before with getting all your personal information and issuing you a picture ID before allowing you to shop there, checking your issued ID at the door before allowing entry, cameras literally everywhere in the aisles watching what you do and even with the outbound receipt and purchase check before allowing you to leave?

OP I don't understand your thought process sometimes. As private member organizations go they've always been very restrictive, even flippant about your personal privacy but asking people to follow the guidelines they're very likely being ordered to comply with by local public health authorities is just smart business. If they don't comply they could run into operational problems.

It's getting to the point where people are just looking for something to complain about.
