Just as a bit of follow-up to the task force announcement...

an immediate rebuke

As I noted in another thread, Trump's made his decision, for now; i.e., transfer the responsibility for the decision to re-open to those doing the grousing, the Governors, and they don't seem to appreciate it. (You mean that having to make a "no-win" decision, ticking off a portion of your constituency, no matter what decision is made, ain't the easiest thing to do? Go figure.) As President, he will offer support, but will not necessarily be the "go to" for everything.

In other words, despite the media, a guy like Cuomo isn't going to be allowed to keep saying: "I make the decisions, but Trump has to provide me everything I want, even before I know I want it." Neither is someone like Newsom going to be able to indefinitely act as if he is in charge of a separate nation-state, but then demand that the Federal Government provide the means to implement his agenda, ostensibly, as 'part' of his response to 'the virus.' Yet, that's what they seem to be trying to get away with.
