    One third random test positive.

Feeling duped yet? Look, if it's so contagious (and appears that it is) then if one third are running around positive on the street and don't know it, then we all either have it or have had it.

Of course some in the article say that means we need MORE social distancing. No, it means it's time to put this garbage behind us. The fish is starting to really stink.

Isn't it also possible that some aspect of the testing isn't 100% accurate?

Accurate positive? Sure, could be inaccurate negative too right? Maybe it's 2/3? Maybe 50-85 times the people they thought have been exposed have already been exposed like the other article said. Herd immunity is starting to have it's way and numbers are dropping. Social distancing and SIP only prolonged the inevitable with something this contagious. If that stopped hospitals from getting overwhelmed then that's a good thing.

Now let's get back to work.

I agree with the lets get back to work. I do think the SIP crap was designed to not overwhelm the hospitals. Our overlords knew all along that they can't simply stop this thing. Now lets get back to work, I have bills to pay...

Probably because the chinavirus was lab created from a less virulent strain that also shows up as a false positive on the tests.

Those are "positive" for the virus I think, others might already have antibodies and be done with it. If that is the case, it's time to get back to normal life.

Any "curve flattening" has been done.. now it's just govts being stubborn

You know what this is.. this is a poker game where a guy was bluffing but someone called him on it but he's too invested in the bluff and has to stay in the game. They had hugely inflated estimates, bet a complete lockdown on the estimates, found out they were wildly off and now have to stay in the bet because they don't want to fold and admit they overplayed the hand.

Great analogy Steve. Staying with your analogy to a poker game. How do you think this will end? Who will fold? Who will....? Thanks in advance.

Awesome news if accurate. Herd immunity is half way there in where the testing was done.

As long as we are extrapolating:

36 million people infected with normal flu last year

say this COVID-19 virus is twice as contagious and 5 times deadlier (R0 = 2.6 and mortality rate 0.5%)

So say 71 million people infected (it would actually be exponentially higher)

Thats 355,000 dead...but really the healthcare system would definitely be overwhelmed so death rate would climb to say 3%

                        Thats 2.1 million dead

So yeah looks like lockdown makes sense

Newsom will not let this go anytime soon. The entire event plays into his playbook of control. He's probably not had a hard on like he does now since Kimberly G left him.

Did you happen to notice the armament the HB Police had with them at that little protest in Huntington Beach yesterday? They appeared itching to deploy. It's all part of the playbook.

Oh, it won't likely play out fully this time as this is just a dry run. It will play out when the polls are sieged with fake votes and folks say enough is enough and push back, then martial law will be called.

You're not paying attention... Time to recheck your numbers.

The researchers claim their findings suggest that between 48,000 and 81,000 people in Santa Clara County had been infected with COVID-19 by April 1, while the total number of confirmed cases was less than 1,000.

That data does not contradict what I said.

I can think lockdown makes sense without liking it.

                              Try again?
