I am truly sorry to hear that. I do not agree with just about every position you take, political or not, but in the last week I have seen some posts by you that indicate we may see "eye to eye" more than I thought. Was it the move to Free America? I love the Prescott area, I drive through it every year on my way to Nebraska.

I will pray for your friend's family(and you) in these trying times.

Doheny, you and I do not see eye to eye on anything. And I doubt we would even if we met face to face. However, losing a good friend sucks and I truly do feel for you and your friends family. Good friends are hard to find and especially precious in these trying times. Prayers for all being sent tonight.

I am not a doctor and don't play one on TV, but it seems like the prognosis for anyone put on a vent is very poor. VERY. And when I hear about this crazy rush to make them far and wide, I get freaked out. ~70% of people intubated are dying on them.

I understand that some docs are now rethinking the protocols for intubation for Covid, realizing that maybe it can do more harm than good.

There are no easy answers I suppose. But when I hear ventilator or intubation, I get chills down my spine now.
