Sticky Mats and Tacky Mats from PLX Industries are used for dirt, dust and contamination control in your workplace or at home. We have 12 sizes and five colors of adhesive floor mats.

        This might help?

          Quick fix here:

Transitioning to a no-shoes policy will take time.

I used them at a job I once had that required me to work with carbon. Very effective.

Then a quick spray down of the diy disinfectant I posted above.

Like when dealing with farm animal diseases or visiting caves. Have shallow trays with disinfectant or bleach solution to walk through when arriving home. Then take off your shoes.

Tray and bleach. Step in tray for a bit, step on towel, put shoes on rack by door to dry.

Friend of mine who has friends high up in CA Gov. said that gov. officials are being advised to setup a "clean room" for your home.

A dedicated room / area where you come home, undress completely, then jump directly into the shower, THEN put "safe / clean" home clothes on.

                  Not a bad idea.

Aren't "mud rooms" somewhat common, where you can come in, leave muddy boots & wet clothes, then change into dry & clean clothes?

                  Something like that.....

Otherwise, the only other thing I could think is these:

                  Shoe Covers

                  .

                    Shoe sanitizing

Leave them outside/ in the garage.

Lysol spray or Spray bottle with 10% bleach solution.

Shoes go to the garage only and the bottom of the soles get steamed with this.

                        Linky?

Would that be good for sanitizing mail and parcels too?

Iv'e got my home made Hypochlorous acid experiment under way at the moment,

iv'e got the PH on a 5 gal. bucket of water/salt down from 11.5 to 8.8.

If it works or if the commercial machine i ordered gets here i'll have a booming supply of disinfectant for free till i run out of salt or water.

A sprayer bottle application for the shoes, mail, old masks, hands, face, groceries or anything suspect is the plan moving forward.
