Would it even be a worry if it was Japan?

Normally no. Looks like a third officer has died of the virus.

This is my fear. I also worry that this could happen with utilities as well.

It doesn't take that many people to keep the power plants running and the water flowing. Since 50% are asymptomatic, there should be enough on the job to keep the light on even if everyone gets it.

Where did you get that 50% number.
Earlier on the radio they said 70-80%
Just curious if they are just pulling it out of their butt

We won't know until the "Sniff Tests" are tallied.

Lawlessness? Like thugs dumping water buckets on cops?

No, because Japan is homogenous; there’s no “die-versity” dividing them.

They have been making preparations for some time now (gathering supplies, setting up areas for employees to temporarily live within facilities, etc.).

It’s all relative. The Bronx in the late 70’s to early 80’s was worse than anything they might experience today.

We have a sheriff here that just tested positive. Just wait until a grocery store worker tests positive.

Review the movie, "Gangs of New York."

I just heard a story that said four grocery store workers in the LA area have tested positive today.

Yep. No surprises in this show. Just think of how many restaurant workers are infected and spreading the goo via take out orders.
