Small Rant - stimulus checks and general crapping

- No income tax!
- Vehicle fees about $300/yr (4 cars), about $2500 in CA
- Great schools
- Decent weather here in Central TX
- Cheap gas, electricity, water

I feel ya but in a different manner. My wife and I made just shy of 200k last year and we re getting $3400 on this deal. We re both still working as we’re “.essential”, I think we’ll basically take this stimulus money and put it in our kids’ college funds. Seems like they’d focus more money at people who need it instead of just giving everyone money.

Some will tell you, they are working on those measures... my question is - why not send ALL monies to those you put out of work/business.

This is where the political chess game barely gets started... this will be the biggest showdown we've ever seen.

If I HAD to bet... I seriously dont know which side... it's that questionable.

... but based on what has transpired this far - I'm not confident the outcome will be in the best interest of freedom of enterprise.

This time last week - I realized how dirty things are getting... I saw implications prior - but didn't think we'd see the shenanigans we have seen since then.

When I had that problem, I maxed out the contribution to every kind of deferred compensation program that I was eligible to participate in. Then I used those investments to retire early. If you aren't actively deferring as much of your pay as possible - then you should at the very least look into it.

I hate Samsungs crap tablet... Sony Xperia isn't supported and they make no more... Sony is Sooooo far superior to this Samsung crap!

My biggest tech gripe is Sony never got traction in the (mobile device) US market.

You should try an iPad. 17+1 got me one a few Black Fridays ago, still runs great.

Doesn’t matter if you get a Samsung or Apple. Part of that sale pays my bills. FWIW, I used to bash Apple, thought it was a hipster kid thing. I finally caved when I “needed” one for some homeschooling. They just work. I’ve never wanted to rage on them like this:
