        Hypothesis;

        Flights out of China (more likely to go to Rome or Berlin)? Where did the US impact hit? Flights out of China more likely to go to Seattle, SF, NY or Miami, Denver and Dallas? It looks to me like those getting more Chinese visitors / traffic are suffering the most. Germany is smart enough to have responded faster then Italy based on the performance of South Korea.
        1. Compared to what?
        2. At what cost?
        3. What hard evidence do you have?

          There was an article posted a few days ago that had an interview with one of the italian ministry of health advisers the other day who attributed it largely to they way they document deaths.

          The way in which we code deaths in our country is very generous in the sense that all the people who die in hospitals with the coronavirus are deemed to be dying of the coronavirus.

            320,000 legal (and plenty of illegal) migrant Chinese workers in Italy, many of them freshly returned from Chinese new years celebrations in China. There are direct flights to Milan from Chinese cities including Wuhan, the city where 5,000,000 people left town just before the quarantine.

            This is why Italy exploded.

                Germany takes the opposite approach, where they only report COV deaths if that's what killed the person. If they can claim heart trouble or COPD was the cause, they will, even if the person tested positive.
                And that's how all deaths should be reported: what actually killed the person.
