            I looked at both before buying my Versamax Tactical. My buddy bought the JM and he now wishes he got the Versamax.

            The Versamax is a very soft shooter and that the "Gas Block" technology that adjusts itself based on shell size.

            I use mine for tactical and skeet and trap. Great gun and now I'm looking to add the Versamax Competition Model next year.

            Both are great guns, but for me the Versamax shoulders well and the recoil (or lack there of) is amazing.

                If I had the choice of the JM pro or the Versamax, I'd def go with the Versamax.. it's a better gun than the JM Pro..

                    Just put 150 rounds thru my new JM Pro last Sunday. Shot only cheap Herters 1oz field loads I got on sale at Cabela's for busting Clays. Gun functioned 100% with no issues whatsoever.
