So, what do you guys use for trap/skeet/sporting/bunker/etc...? do any of you hunters use shooting glasses when hunting? Ever have a pair save your bacon (eyes)? Ever feel weird when not using glasses while on the range?

Shooting Glasses for shotgunning

I use ISS ICE glasses with prescription inserts. Can't read with them on, but otherwise they work well... although it's about time to have new lenses put in.
I've had lots of brass bounce off my glasses in indoor ranges (that stuff bounces everywhere), at outdoor shotgun stuff I can't recall anything hitting the glasses, but there's always the fear of a catastrophic failure.NRA Patron Member
I've written up my ongoing adventures as I learn to hunt.
Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.
I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.
I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest. -
protip: use goggles with an elastic strap, they wont break the seal of your ear pro and stay tight to your face when you swing. $10 on amazon/shop42a.com.

I use Randolph Ranger's. Well made and give a good view of flying targets. At every range I go to, eye and ear protection is REQUIRED. If an RO catches you with out either, they may not be very friendly about it..."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment

Randall's. Good advise on the colors by Gun Nut.
Yup, while walking a long way behind a skeet fence, on a sidewalk that folks are supposed to walk on, I have been hit several times with errant pellets. One hit my lens and bounced off. A few have hit me in the face and really sting, so I'm assuming that taking one in the eye may not be pretty.Comment

I bought a pair of Randolph Ranger's from Wayne at http://www.morganoptical.net/ . He really knows his stuff.
They're great, come with replaceable lenses, and in a variety of colors.Comment

Used to work at a trap/skeet range as a instructor/puller. My glasses saved my *** plenty of times, they have battle scars to show it, from broken clay birds to getting peppered. I never handle firearms with out them. (I use Oakley M-Frames)You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.Comment
