Knoxx SpecOps Stock

I put one on my 870. Now my daughter shoots it. Best stock I've ever purchased.

I received the Knoxx (I'm still waiting for the 10-day period to be over and get my Mossberg 500). I tried to feel the springs by suddenly pushing on the butt while holding firmly the grip, but it seems very stiff, not much "spring action"... is this normal?

Is there a way to check if it's the NRS or the recoil reduction stock? Both look the same to me, and both have adjustable LOP...

Remove the adjustable portion of the stock (the 'butt' part) and look down the rear of the cylindrical portion of the stock (the 'tube' that is still attached to the shotgun)...you should see a spring.

As I understand it, no spring = NRS and spring = normal SpecOps

The springs are REALLY stiff, but will give to substantial pressure.
