I finally got my Mossberg 930 SPX out to the range this weekend. I was a bit worried about all the reports of failing to cycle birdshot until it was broken in. I was happy that mine had no issues with about 80 shells of the Federal Walmart Bulk ammo.
Recoil is mild, and I liked the sights. The checkering is a bit aggressive, but the guy next to me with the same shotgun suggested wearing gloves.
Overall I am very happy with the shotgun. I really do think it may be the best value out there for a semi-auto tactical shotgun.
