So nice but so damned expensive.

They are expensive, but I have had mine on my 870 for six or seven years with absolutely no issuses. IMHO, they are worth it.

get one in barely used condition in private for sale. check the gun for sale forum to see if people got them and ask if they're willing to part out.

I've been thinking about picking up a surefire as well for my 500 Persuader. Very nice and a good investment in my opinion.

make sure to buy the shotguns in classifieds first. some are such good deals it'd be a shame to pass up.
