Which is better 9mm or .223???

Lots of debate on what works best.

The lighter the shot, the less a single pellet can penetrate.


I will follow the manufacturer suggestions- 00 buck for dangerous game/ animals.

I've been thinking about using #4 Buck instead of #00 Buck for my home defense shotgun to minimize over-penetration. I live in a very populated area where my neighbors and my exterior walls are stucco and in one case only 8ft separation.
What do you guys think of #4 vs #00?

The argument between #4 and #00 is the same as 9mm vs 45 ACP.

Pretty interesting, I think I'll buy some to play with. We have a team shoot event coming up and we're dragging to a a private range a variety of things we normally cannot shoot at at a public range. Should be interesting to see how #4 buck compares to 00 buck and slugs.
