SoCal Skeet clinic, 4-27-14 Debrief-Don's Birthday today!

Don turned 80 today and celebrated with us at the clinic.

The day was nippy in the morning but quickly warmed up to slightly overcast skies. We had the gamut of participants including new shooters and repeat clinic attendees. Basics were taught as well as putting the more experienced in tough exercizes like shooting doubles at station 3.

We wrapped up the clinic with a round of squad style shooting for us that will be shooting at Don's birthday shoot next week.

The next post will show some photos but forgive me but my photobucket editor wont cooperate and I cannot downsize.

IDK, but no problems and kind of nice being by the trees. It was a busy day.

Not the most ideal field at BBB to learn skeet. The trees make it a bit harder to see the birds coming out of station 1, 2 and you tack on the morning shadows it gets interesting. On hot days like today, it's a perfect field though.
