KSG order cancelled...3 years later

3 years later, to the day... Turners calls me and says their lawyers have decided not to sell KSG's anymore. Guess I can go get my deposit back...

Took a 4 day shotgun class this past weekend and a KSG was there.

Jammed non stop the first day.
Jammed non stop the second day.
Went KABOOM on the third day. Receiver broke and it's toast.
His backup KSG jammed all day the fourth day.

I don't want one anymore.

They offered me a UTAS UTS-15 for 2x the price(of the KSG). The videos look terrible and EVEN worse then the KSG.

I have 2 870's, an Benelli m4 and an M2 trap gun. The KSG was just because it was cool THREE years ago. Think I'll take my refund and call it a day.

He had it laid out on the table in parts so I should have taken a picture but I didn't.

There was also a UTAS but he left half way through the second day and never came back. It was also plagued with issues.

LOL, KSG is junk. Should have gotten the deposit back long time ago, and they should give you interest as well for waiting yearSSSS

I saw one run in a shotgun class. Jam-o-matic. Plus when it did work, halfway through the day the guy using it was making a common complaint about the shells hitting his wrist when they're ejected.

It's a cool concept, but overpriced, underproduced, and just doesn't work as well as just about everything else. Sure, the UTS-15 is worse, but that thing sets a bar so low that anything including the KSG should be able to meet it.

I didn't hear how it came to be broken, so I don't know if it actually kaBoomed, or if it just broke from all the hard racking that he had to do to keep it running. But there were definitely some broken pieces that he pointed out to me. What those pieces were, I dunno.

I had one of those 90's era Mossberg bullpups and while it didn't have great capacity (five I think), I never had a problem with it.

Wish I hadn't sold it. It was fun to shoot and always attracted onlookers when I shot it.

I would take a Mossberg 500, 500A, 590 over a Rem 870 any day solely based on the location of the slide release. Behind the trigger guard as opposed to in front of makes a heck of a difference.
