Oh, Coyote Valley? I'm there almost every weekend, usually in the morning. I was there at the trap field last Sunday morning.
BTW if you do 10 on the trap, you're doing VERY well for the first time. The trap field for Coyote Valley is not standard trap. If you did not turn off the vertical movement and engage the vertical parking, it will be wobble trap. Even if you engage those to make it ATA style with fixed height, that machine throws clays very low and fast. It is a lot more difficult than the regular ATA one.
I didn't know this until I was invited to shoot at Sunnyvale Rod & Gun club by one of their member I met at Coyote Valley (he bought a Citori there and was trying it out during his 10 day wait), their trap field is set to ATA regulation and is a lot easier. If you can get 10 consistently at Coyote Valley, try Sunnyvale Rod & Gun (trap open to public on Sat). You should be able to get around 18 to 20 easily. They have a min. barrel length requirement of 26" though.
