Thinking about getting a Benelli Super Nova

Benelli makes fine shotguns. barrel replacement is almost cost prohibitive and you might be better off to buy another shotgun than to pick up another one. buy the Benelli with the barrel that's going to best meet your needs, or forever hold your peace.

i have an M1 Super 90 and the high quality is readily evident; the proof is in the puddin. i've been looking for another barrel for awhile now, simply to add to this shotgun's potential. surprisingly, i did find and pick up a Benelli hard case earlier this week at a swap meet.

I just picked up my Supernova a couple of days ago. I love it. Mine is a field gun though (28"). If you buy the tactical, it will cost you another 300-400 dollars for a field barrel. Thats tough to swallow. Benelli>Mossberg all day.

The more I think about it I will probably never get a field barrel for the supernova. I have a bad habit of wanting a particular gun and never actually buying said gun lol.

Big 5 has the 28" Super Nova in black? Most Big 5's have just the Nova (no comfortech stock). Please let me know which Big 5.

The Nova I'm looking at is the Tactical Model. 18.5'' Barrel. The Big 5 in San Jose has just the one right now. They will be getting more from what they tell me.

I own over a dozen shotguns. Autoloaders, pumps and O/U. Beretta, Browning, Benelli, Franchi, Remington and Winchester. I have a Benelli Super Nova 26" field gun.

The Super Nova is my least favorite. It feels a bit too bulky for me for wing shooting.

I got a Nova field but its not the "super" model. I won it at a Ducks Unlimited dinner years ago. I use it exclusivly for goose hunting with a steady diet of 3 1/3 inch magnums. Not one problem with it through the years. Benelli product is good to go!!

Try the Benelli M4. Costly but reliable and smooooth action!
