    First 25 - 16 yard trap

Today I decided to give trap a try. Shot 5 rounds of skeet the boys at field 10 and decided to shoot some more. Normally I will go run 50 sporting and call it a day, but I wandered over to the trap field to give it a try. Shot with a nice gentleman for 3 rounds. 21, 23 and finally a 25 (actually 26 with the extra target). Kinda remembered some gun hold tips from a video I saw a few months ago, but really just stuck with my skeet stance and fundamentals. Enjoyed trap and was surprised how well I did. I think I might try doubles next.

You should be proud of yourself. Some long time trap shooters will never shoot 25. They let nerves get in way. And your make a very interesting observation on how much skeet shooting will improve your trap game.

You should sign up for registered ata trap shoot. With those scores you might win your class.

Congrats on the perfect round. Hope you get many more.

If you decide to shoot ata or other registered targets, be prepared. I shot a 96 in D class and did not place. First was a 99, second and third were 98's and I got fourth. I even had a perfect 50 to boot. Competition trap can get pretty tough.

Good luck on your journey and hope your progress continues to where you are running 100 straight.
