Just Bought My First Shotgun

Hey all,

Just bought my first shotgun today. Remington 870 Express. Was looking to get into trap shooting, and obviously hunting with it.

A little background...I've been shooting trap and hunting pretty much all my life. I've just used a family member's shotgun. So this isn't anything new to me.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any places I could shoot trap, AND possibly join a trap shooting league somewhere around the Long Beach area.

It is a ways from you, but if your ever in the area you should check out Oak Tree Gun Club in Newhall.

Triple B is the closest trap range to Long Beach: http://www.triplebclays.com/

Oak Tree is nice for sporting clays, but I don't think it's worth the drive from LB for trap.

Tried and true, the 870 is nice shotgun. I have a long and defense length and they both shoot like new after years of shooting.

What do u all think about a Mossberg 500 silver 12 ga combo. 28" field and 18 1/2" barrel?
