      That's AWESOME!!! Well done.
I'll assume this was at Triple B Clays? If so, go to the pro-shop and tell them you shot 25 straight in skeet. They will give you a free patch if they have one. If they're out, there are some nice Winchester, Federal and Remington straight patches for sale on E-Bay.

International doesn't shoot the smaller gauges... especially my favorite gauge for practice, the 410.

This is very true, but i know guys who shoot international with a 410

Now, ill admit, they are like 80, half blind, and have been shooting since before my parents were born, but ive seen some of these guys do it

If you want to shoot low gun, shoot FITASC or real international skeet.

If you want to shoot pre-mount, shoot American skeet

If you want to shoot both, shoot 5 stand or sporting clays.

There's something for everyone, no need to handicap yourself unless...

I've practice with Kim Rhode at the old Fish Canyon skeet range and she was busting them using the 410. The way she practice is like 1/2 a case at one station!! It isn't hard to shoot Int'l coz the basic principles are the same... But to get to Olympic levels I think a lot of cash and cases of shells are required!!

Oh ya, we have a girl up here at coyote who shoots sporting, and she goes through 3 flats in a day. I shoot a flat, maybe a flat and a half, in a day of skeet, but i reload all my shells, so its much cheaper then normal

This is a little off topic, sorry for that, but I'm curious how much does it cost to reload a box of 25 shells? Assuming that the plastic and brass is free of course.

I've watched videos on Youtube on reloading shotshells, seems pretty involved.

I buy my lead reclaimed and by the ton, at around $1700 delivered to my door in a big drum. Its better to buy in bulk. My wads from midway are cheap, and again, i bought 10,000, so its been lasting me awhile. Hulls are free. Primer and powder i do bulk buys from BPI, fiocchi 616 primers, and alliant extralite powder, even though im considering switching to red dot or a different powder, because extralite is way to dirty. I reload on a MEC9000, which makes it really really easy to load.

You plop a hull in one side, and a wad in the wad guide, then pull the handle. It drops powder, shot, and primer, as well as crimping and tapering, all in one downstroke. you just keep doing that over and over, and honestly, you get into a rhythm and it moves quick. I load really light, 3/4oz a shell, flying at 1100 fps, and it makes everything last a little longer. once i get up to speed, i can load a flat in under an hour. Ill load a weeks worth of shells in one nights work, shoot them all, and go back to it. Its harder to get components now, but its still a huge savings. My cost per box is between $2.50 and $3.00, so my cost per flat is about $25-$30. It pays everything off quickly lol

Funny you say that. When i first started shooting skeet seriously, i told the old guys i only dreamed of shooting like them. My soon to be shooting coach told me " If you wanna get this good, stop dreaming, wake the f*ck up, grab your gun, and get out there". 6 months later, i was even with him. 1 year later, which is now, we compete and i win half the time. Practice, and practice hard, and it will come to you

It takes time and practice to get good at anything. The results is this thread! Then the 50 will come then the 75 and when your first 100 comes you will feel like you just had the best sex!!
