That is a not a repair that you want any one to you. Send the barrel to Remington. No gun smith would try to braise a barrel ring on, or should not. That model just came out in January of 2012 so it is under warranty. Call 800-243-9700 and follow the prompts to Repair. Also, insist they send you a shipping label so you don't have to pay to ship it to them. They are going to send you a new barrel and not repair that one.
