Ordered a new Maverick 88 five shot at Big5 two weeks ago for $199.00. Basic five shot model. Arrives yesterday and I go to get it. Clerk takes down serial numbers and paperwork and does not open the box to look at it at all. When I get home, I take it out to look at it and it is the 8 shot model for $90.00 bucks more!!!!!!!! Epic........

I think when DOJ audits that Big5, they're going to lose their FFL for "misplacing" a firearm.

When they call you and ask for the gun back, tell them you've already sold it to some guy in the parking lot. But for a $500 gift card you might be able to find the buyer and convince him to bring it back.

Does the serial number on the gun match the paperwork? If so, I don't think the DOJ will care. Big 5 will care since they took a loss. Make a mistake, pay the price. Keep it (if the numbers match).

They gave me the more expensive cabinet when I paid for the cheaper one that was on sale. They must do this often then haha

Last big 5 Mosin i bought the register discounted it to$75! Manager caught it though. She told me an employee had just sold an expensive tennis raquet for $5 cause the register said so. Corperate did catch it.

Yeah, they first rang me up for like 300 something dollars so i said "uhhh, its supposed to be like 179 (dont judge me)" and then they corrected it and i noticed the safe's box said 8 gun instead of 14 or somethin so I pointed it out and they exchanged it with another
