Thanks for posting Brad. I squaded up w Ray that day. You can credit my counsel and guidance for his results. I take full credit.

All kidding aside, he was perfect thru our first 6 stations, dropped 5 on the seventh, which happened to be toughest station (caught a bad break going first on that one) and only missed 5 more clays the rest of the day.

Definitely a learning experience shooting between Ray and Ron Ingels - two nice and down to earth guys that know how to break clays.

PS - BTW, That's just not any C class shooter that's sitting at 89, he's a AA skeet champ.

Ray, serious question. Is it hard to keep all that sand out of the gun? Doesn't it get into the action

No, as long as I keep my hands out of my pockets. My shooting bag also has a separate sand compartment next to my shells. And I clean the autos after every use -

Sporting Clays is a clay target game shot with a shotgun.

Yes, it was a sporting clays tournament at Moore-N-Moore in San Fernando CA. My buddy Ray won by shooting HOA (High Over All) meaning the highest score posted out of 100.

HOA is usually somebody in Master Class, not B class like Ray (and I) are in.

Meaning he beat everybody in A, AA, and Master class. The Classes go all the way down to E class.

The sand reference is a veiled attempt to infer he's a sand bagger because he beat the higher class.
