I know several accomplished skeet shooters that have CZ's SXS, 20ga. & .410. These are guys who have been shooting the B guns, Beretta and Browning, for decades. They all like the CZ gun for the price. Obviously not the high end quality finished gun but very functional with "plain Jane" wood, comfortable to shoot and pleasant to the eye. Biggest complaint - the trigger...otherwise a great gun for the price.

I don't know how well they shoot, but they don't have the greatest finish. I passed on a CZ last time I was looking for an affordable O/U and went with a Winchester. That said, if a CZ fits you and lasts, it doesn't matter how it looks when you go 25/25 with it.

I picked up my Canvasback Friday and got it out into a duck blind Sunday. First shot with it blew the head completely off a spoonie (little too much lead and a tight pattern, apparently). That was the top barrel with IM shooting #3's in steel. Had the M choke in the bottom barrel. Ended the day with a limit, 6 greenwings to go along with the spoonie. One of the best first-time-out with a new gun days I've ever had. I knew it felt good in the shop, but knocking fast-moving teal out of the air on all passing shots proved I'd made a good choice.

The Canvasback has the black chrome action to match the barrels and just extractors, not ejectors. I didn't want to worry about it in the marsh or feel like it was mismatched for its job. Mission accomplished.
I don't shoot because I like guns, I shoot because I hate paper.

I picked up (handled) one (O/U) at Mel Cottons in 20g. Almost took 2 people to open the action. I'm familiar with guns being "tight" when new, but this was rediculous. Never should've made it out of the factory. I doubt I'll pick up another.

Just my opinion, but one can pick up a lightly used Beretta or Browning entry model for similar $'s and have a shotgun for life.
