    Shell Catcher for Benelli

Does anyone have a shell catcher they use for a Benelli Supersport?

I tried the Birchwood Casey one, but after the first shot, the rounds started jamming when I tried to load.

I'm gonna try it again, but wondering if there's a better one out there.

I've been using a rubber band since then.

T&S Shell catchers is the brand we use. Don't know if they have one for your gun. They work fairly well, but I've had to modify one a little for my Beretta 391.

Yea. They don't make one for supersport. may get in way of inertia bolt. used one on my old remington. it was great.

Might just stick to rubber band, or 1oz loads, that don't eject as far.

Tell those sissies to suck it up, they want to play with guns, they'll have to deal with shells.

I've also seen comments about using rubber bands, I wonder how does that work.

That works. Some ranges require catcher.

^^^Was just going to ask why you need one (if you don't reload). Glad none of the places I shoot requires one. That would be a huge turn-off.

            Out of curiosity, which place?

Most places suggest it. Only p2k requires it. It doesn't turn me off. It seems courteous not to eject your shells on the guy to the right of you.

You're shooting GUNS and they are worried about a plastic hull?

Maybe it just saves the staff work picking up the hulls!

                          My feelings too,
I have the Birchwood on my Beretta A400 and it works perfectly 99% of the time. I do not use it unless Mr. Finicky is next to me.
but after the first shot, the rounds started jamming when I tried to load.
How does it jam when you load? Do you leave the spent shell stuck in the wire retainer and then shoot another round? If so- you are not using it correctly. You have to remove the spent shell each time and throw it at the guy to your right making sure hit his..... and then either flip the wire retainer down and load OR i just reload through the wire retainer-works fine! Not real clear as to when you experience a problem.
I will not shoot at a range that requires them. Only useful on singles trap and then I use my magnet even at places that hire people to pickup shells at the end of the day.

I think I did it right. Took spent shell out. Put new one in open carrier. Pressed carrier release, and shell wouldn't load into chamber.

As soon as I took it off, it started loading again.

                            I'll try it again.

Tried again today. No luck! Gun started jamming right after I put it on. Back to rubber bands.
