You could get a escort mpa and accessories from kings armory for a third of that.

I have an escort... piston driven like the m4.. runs flawless on all loads.. was talking to someone who had an M4, 930, and hatsan... he said that the M4 and hatsan both ran pretty comparably.. and where both better than the 930

Which box-fed shotguns do you recommend?

Vepr 12 or a Saiga 12. I just got my Vepr 12 not too long ago and it is significantly cheaper than the m4 by about $400 or so dollars. It also cycles pretty much everything I put through, that includes various loads of birdshot.

I still find it faster to reload than a tube fed shotgun even with the bullet button.

Don't get me wrong, the M4 is a great shotgun, but it's a bit heavy for my liking. I'd rather go with an M2 if I needed a semi, or a good 870 Police Magnum, and leave it at that.

Go for it! It took me a few months to talk myself into buying mine but once I did let me tell you what. The thing is pretty bad ***. Overall one of the top 3 favorite guns that I own.

nice setup. Im waiting on a full length tube before i can install my stock and other parts. the mesa stock is cool but the grip and the installation on it sucks. It would be nice if someone made an identical original stock but shorter. im debating getting an RMR, how do you like it, worth it?

I like the stock. it's definitely shorter, & I can pull it in pretty tight. As far as the RMR goes I do like it but I had a friends Aimpoint T1 on there & now I think I'm going in that direction
