    Benelli M4 - 7 round tube & Carrier Comp?

    Hi all,

been watching some you tube videos and found many have been ordering the extended 7 round tube at carrier comp.

I have gone to their site, emailed Kip and also called him.
First off, his phone is disconnected and he never responded to my emails.

Anyone know if he went out of business, closed down, stop taking orders because he is so swamped?

I am reading some posts out there and they are somehow getting in contact with him.

Any input would be much appreciated.

he is still in business. they are super backed up and for that reason they have suspended their sales. Ive had an order for the last 4 months and I prob wont receive for another month or 2.

You might also check with Dave's Metal Works, he makes an excellent tube for the M4.

I have not heard of Daves...
Everyone keeps raving about Carrier Comp and his titanium tube.

I may take a peek at Dave's stuff

          thanks

I just use a steel one. With all the tacticool crap I've loaded it down with, 2 ounces doesn't mean that much to me. Was $40 less and no 5-year wait. I'm sure the CC Ti tubes are great, just don't get their Holy Grail status...it's a pretty simple piece of metal.

Do people not use Benelli brand because it isn't US made and some restrictions with semi-auto shotguns?

^ people don't use the OEM full tube because they are >$300 and better options exist. Plus they don't count as a 922 part.

Dave is a good guy and located in So Cal, so might be local to you. As a side note attesting to his workmanship, his M4 tubes are LAPD-approved for duty use.

I would have gone for the CC tube if not for ridiculous backlog.

So Ill vouch for Dave's tube instead. Paid roughly ~$80 with shipping, installed perfectly. I just wish he made followers as well.

^^ What the. I wrote Dave in an email specifying that I was in the market for one, and he did not tell me he made any. I wish I saw that before purchasing the overpriced Freedom Fighter Tactical one.

Oh well. I digress. Thanks anyway
