There are three choices, the 870 Express for $330, Mossberg 2 barrel combo for $260 and the Interstate 1887 for $260.
I used to have the same mossberg combo years ago and it was good value but eventually after a few thousands rounds it started to jamb. The plastic safety also broke two times but today someone makes an aluminum replacement for it.
I have the 870 wingmaster at my brothers house in a far away state and I want to keep it there. It's been awsome. many thousands of rounds thru it and it still runs like a...an animal that runs well or a good tractor
Don't know anything about the interstate 1887 other than it's made in china.
I've also seen that they sometimes have the Remingtom/Baikal single shot. I had one of those when I was a kid and it's an ugly but reliable shotgun. I remember seeing it at Big 5 for around $70 or $80.
My use for it is to have in camp gun.
I like the single shot because it's a take-down shotgun that can stow in my duffle and it's the cheapest.
What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Smitty
