Kel tec KSG. Too much hype?

Honestly I'm not a believer in the KSG. Looks cool but I knew it was gonna b over rated. Sure enough 2 of my co workers KSGs took a dump. What r ur thoughts ?

I've had mine since last October. $699 brand new. It has performed flawlessly. Kel Tec may not have the best rep, but I have nothing but good things to say about this weapon.

Awesome platform, not over hyped. The price yes, but if you can find a deal you should grab it. A buddy of mine has one and I'm really considering one myself!

depends on what you are expecting. I have one and love it. It is really cool. If you are looking for a gun to go hunting/sporting clays etc, not very practical. If you are more of a collector or do more competition shooting (3 guns etc) I think it is very good at what it does (high capacity assault shotgun).

it is a cool shotgun, but I see it as a toy not a true fighting weapon.

Also $2000 for it is a joke. If I had $800 to blow and one was in front of me I might buy one, but for $2000 I would go pick up a really nice Benelli.
I will share my opinion and my load data, BUT I am just a guy with too many cigars and too many guns. Whatever I say is probably wrong.

Picking mine up today, looking forward to the range later! What a way to end the week! And no, didn't pay an arm and a leg for it, total came out to $740 OTD.

overhyped and overpriced, $740 otd sounds like a reasonable price though
