Indoor range-SHOTGUN?

That's my range, I shoot shotgun there every once in a while. You have to use their ammo though, so you don't sneak in slugs.

Last time I went I bought the last 3 boxes of .22lr they had. Counter guy asked "oh, you're going to be *that* guy?" I said "yep, someone is, might as well be me."

That's funny. I went thru 3 boxes of 50 22lr last night alone.

What loads are the shotgun rounds? Birdshot?

Use indoor ranges just to break in a shotgun.

Exactly. I'll usually go to LAGC, even though it sucks there for the most part, but they're very lenient on what you can bring and shoot. Plus it's usually empty during the middle of the week I take a late lunch at work and go there when they open in the afternoon. Can't really leave 'shredded' targets from the indoor ranges since most require that you use slugs (most have to be purchased from them), no buckshot and no birdshot.

I've done this a few times to break in a few shotguns, and to sight in the GRS on one of them at 25 yards. It wasn't much, but helped when I used the shotgun in a defensive shotgun course shortly after.
