930 sight Q

You guys know how the front sight is on the PSX 18"??

I'm thinking of picking one up for my closet gun an love the set up of the JM 22" but its a 22".. When I had my 20" 870 that was too long for my taste.. I like the SPX but hate the ghost rings and PG.

PG is easily replaceable but I can't seem to find out if the front sight is screwed in or epoxied or welded on the SPX model.

I want either bead or the JM fiber sight but in an 18". So is the front SPX post removable?

I dont think the SPX post is removable, it's silver soldered on there.

Why not just get a regular 930? There's not much difference between a regular 930 and a SPX.

You could get the 85325 field/security combo at Grant's (costa mesa) for $596. It has a bead sight on the 18.5" barrel and the 28" barrel has a vent rib and is ported. It's only a 5 shot but at that low price you can get a mag extension and customize as you like.
I got one on saturday and they had 2 more left at that time.

I would get a JM 930 22" and buy a 18" barrel for HD

With the JM22/24's, do they include a magazine tube cap so you can remove the extension and use the bare minimum 5 shot capacity?
Obviously if you get a 18.5" barrel, you will want to remove the extension, otherwise, it will stick out 4".

Ok im going crazy I swear I just saw turners with the JM ros on sale and a SPX on their ad.. Does anyone know where they have these on sale or am I going crazy?

Really I might go check them out I was thinking of hitting upo turners and seeing if they had them being close. But thats a dam good price so about $650 OTD.. I like the sound of that
