Seems like they should just ship you 2 free UTS-15's with each purchase. That way you have a good chance of one working.

You are correct. I just bought the current generation and saw "Fancies" review but he had an earlier model out of the box and they had issues. Its not his fault. UTAS just had to work out all the issues/tolerances which they thought were all addressed 4 months ago.. All issues fixed at this point. Not so. Nutnfancy didn't like it, but that problem has been solved with current production. Many prefer the UTS 15 over the KSG. Although Hickok45 favors the KSG:
Here's Hickok45's UTS 15 review (he liked it):
Here's 2 that favor the UTS 15 over the KSG:

Same stuff happened to the KRISS Super V when it came out with the buffer pad issues/double feeding...Comment

I say **** the UTS and KSG. Yeah they look badass and are cool concepts but i would never trust my life with either one. I dont buy guns i dont trust my life to because whats the point. Id rather spend the money on the for sure thing, 870 or 500 and still have money left over for ammo and accessories. Common sense.Comment

That's probably true. The more we shoot our KSG, the fewer problems we have. We're getting used to it.Originally posted by cockedandglockedGetting called a DOJ shill has become a rite of passage around here. I've certainly been called that more than once - I've even seen Kes get called that. I haven't seen Red-O get called that yet, which is very suspicious to me, and means he's probably a DOJ shill.Comment

Well some of us have 2 or 3 of those and want more with this type of firearm, thus moving up the shotgun food chain.I say **** the UTS and KSG.
