Shotguns with adjustable stocks for tall people.

I'm 6'6". if my experience with an off-the shelf shotgun is any indication:
1: your gun will shoot a bit high. Longer barrels will help prevent this
2: you may have trouble looking down the rib, because your shoulder is further away then the mfg expected.
3: adjustable stocks help. I like the Akita by Ati
4: I also put a small wedge ati sells to angle the stock down a bit. This helped.
In the end, though, you can either buy a stock that fits you properly (ie: custom, or those super-adjustable stocks you see people with at the skeet range) or get used to what you purchased being non-ideal (my option)NRA Patron Member

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.
I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.
I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.Comment

I have a Mossberg 500 that I had sitting in my closet for a decade. I decided to breathe new life into it and I'm pretty happy about it. I'm 6'-2", the adjustable stock lifts the sight right up to eye level, and the forward grip keeps you from having to hold your supporting arm up so high.
It's the UAG Tactical Conversion Kit.

Now I just need the shoulder thing that goes up and it'll be completeComment

One thing I have noticed, when you angle a stock like that (and like I've done) it kicks harder against your cheek... kind of unavoidable, and not at all dependent on the specific stock as far as I can tell, but something to be ready for.NRA Patron Member
