The Valtro PM-5 with 6 magazines sold for $550 at the Gunrunners Auction last Saturday.

At $550 for the Valtro it went otd for closer to $700. Add $55 for the 10% buyers fee then add sales tax of $49.91 and a $35 transfer fee.

        Thanks

          $550 + $50 tax + 15% Buyers Fee 82.50$ + DROS $35 = 717.50$

Not a bad deal but not deviating from the norm because this Valtro was pretty well used.

the gun itself is not too hard to get, but the magazines are made of unobtainium. I offered $120 for a single magazine here on Calguns for months before I got a guy to sell me two.

The winchester 1300 works with aguilla Mini shotshells (so I've heard, I haven't used it myself) supposedly it will hold 14 or so of them in the tube.

I'm looking forward to my S12 to fill that particular role in my collection.

Good to know last time I was there it was only 10% buyers fee. 15% really makes the prices unattractive.

The fee is 10% in person and 15% if you bid on line. I bid online and didn't win anything which is a good thing because my wife would have been really mad!

They did have two 1911 Essex frames, a Gov't and Commander size. The Gov't went for $200. With the added fees and such, I don't think it was that good of a deal.

There was a beater S&W Model 41 that went pretty cheap. I would have liked to get that one. Something like $350 IIRC. Even with fees, it would have been interesting.

I thought the Exxex frames went for a bit more than that. But even at that price you'd be better off getting a SA and do it up.
